Cats – adorable, cuddly (sometimes), and most importantly squishy. However, the less cute counterpart – the cat hair – constantly drives owners crazy. I mean it gets everywhere; clothes, bedding, floors, counters, and even in your face. While some of these locations just come with having a cat, the clothing and bedding is one where people constantly try innovative techniques to get it to go away since cat owners all know that just washing doesn’t get the hair to leave the pieces of clothing. One way is to wash your clothes and bedding with a non-flushable wipe. They need to be non-flushable otherwise they will fall apart and get white pieces of paper all over your clothes. If they are the same texture as baby wipes (yes baby wipes do work) they won’t fall apart and they will help de-hair your clothes and bedding. A second way is to wash your clothes regularly and then before the rinse cycle pour in a dash of white vinegar. This may seem strange but it actually works. It doesn’t make them smell like vinegar or anything, but it does make your darks and colors more vibrant, and it helps to de-hair the articles you want cat hair free.
