Around 7 AM cops got a call about the Tiger Wood’s accident, he had serious leg injuries in his right leg after being involved in a “high-speed” single-car accident outside Los Angeles.

Tiger was lucid and did not appear to be under the influence of any substances or alcohol. He was laso wearing his seat belt and his airbag was deployed. Some are saying he may have fallen asleep behind the wheel.

Sheriffs say that Wood’s driving was a “relatively greater speed than normal” when his vehicle crossed over the opposite lane and swerved off the road completely, into a hillside. After the crash a neighbor noticed the car and called 911 to notify authorities of the accident. When emergency workers arrived at the scene Woods was conscious and responsive. He was loaded into an ambulance and was rushed to the closest trauma center, where he had gone into surgery.

Tiger suffered a comminuted open fracture in both his upper and lower portions of his right leg. He had a rod placed in his leg with screws and pins during an emergency surgery. The recovery time will be lengthy but Tiger will likely get back to his daily activities and playing sports.
