After about 15 years, a cat that went astray is now reunited with her owner. In 2005, Charles adopted a brown tabby kitten named Brandy. One day, Brandy went outside, and when Charles went to bring her in, she was gone. Despite Charles leaving up signs and checking animal shelters, he could not find Brandy. On February 21st, he received a call from the animal shelter. The microchip that Brandy had was still registered to his number. Charles admitted “he was skeptical”, but was reunited with his cat at the Los Angeles County Animal Shelter in Palmdale. Charles said, “I saw her, I picked her up and she started to purr and it was very emotional. It was nice to have her in my arms again. I did break down and cry because I thought about all of the years I lost from her.” Brandy was skinny and malnourished, but still had the same personality of the cat he lost years ago.
