A 16 year old boy accidentally set off a bomb in a classroom at Michigan High School, injuring four other students and a teacher. The whole school had to be evacuated and closed for the day while police investigated exactly what happened. The boy who set off the bomb was then taken to the nearby hospital with moderate to severe injuries while the other four students, along with the teacher were treated for only minor injuries.
Police believe that the incident was solely an accident and was not meant to harm others. A search warrant was issued for the minors home, finding more explosive devices that were safely detonated.
