ADHD Poem (part 3)

while the noise may bark

ferocious and frothing

with its dripping jowls

it can be silenced

with my own roar

from my heaving and hoarse lungs

while the light may burn

beastly and blistering

with its searing rays

it can be quenched

with my own blaze

from my fragile and fractured soul
