On March 17th the boys cross country team won the WYL title. They made history because this had never happened before. The race was hosted at hidden valley park. The boys raced against their biggest competition Mt. Whitney and defeated them by 6 points. El Diamantes top runner, Christopher Peralta, placed second with a 15.58. All the boys ran a good race and the girls placed 2nd losing to Redwood by 3 points. After the WYL meet the coaches Pete Murrieta and Mark Hales jumped in the pool to honor the long seasons and win.
