Background: Although pizza may be one of my favorite foods; my family had to find a gluten-free option due to my mother being Celiac. The problem with gluten-free options is that sometimes they lack structure, crumble, or are rock hard. But with this recipe, you can barely tell the difference and it tastes delicious.

Ingredients:

¾ cup warm water

1 tablespoon sugar

1 packet yeast

2 cups gluten-free flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon cider vinegar

Toppings of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Ppreheat your oven to 450° F
  2. Mix sugar, yeast, and water. Let sit for 5 minutes
  3. Mix flour and salt until completely combined, then add egg, vinegar, yeast mixture, and olive oil
  4. Mix for 1 minute
  5. Using a spatula, transfer bread dough on a piece of parchment paper
  6. Form the dough into a 10-12 inch circle
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes
  8. Add toppings and bake for another 8-10 minutes
  9. Enjoy!
