As of April 20, 2021, 25.3 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered in California. This is about 42.2% of Californians. In order for the vaccine to bring control, around 85% of Americans will need to be vaccinated. In the last week, over 300,000 doses of the vaccine have been given in California. Almost 26% of Californians are fully vaccinated while 16.5 million have gotten one dose. We are heading in the right direction, but still have a ways to go.
