On Tuesday, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued new information for outdoor mask use specifically for fully vaccinated Americans. According to the CDC, people who have been vaccinated can unmask at small outdoor gatherings with friends or family, while unvaccinated people still have to wear a mask at small gatherings. Also, the CDC states that vaccinated people should avoid large indoor gatherings and wear masks at crowded outdoor events for safety purposes. The CDC still recommends that vaccinated and unvaccinated people should wear masks in indoor public areas such as malls or museums to prevent any spread of COVID-19.
