The Reds took on the Dodgers at Dodger stadium last night. Reds starting pitcher Tyler Mahle went against Dodgers starter Julio Urias. Tyler Mahle went a strong 5 innings pitched while only giving up 1 run and Tejay Antone took over for a strong 3 innings after him. The Reds batters batted in 3 runs in 9 innings. In the final inning Reds closing pitcher Amir Garrett, who has had a slow start to the season, gave up a 2 run homerun to Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager. With the game tied in the 10th inning, Jesse Winker stepped up to the plate with a runner on second and hit a 2 run bomb to left field. The Reds then were able to close out the game and break their 7 game losing streak.
