Don’t Fall To Pieces Just Because China’s Rocket Is

There was a rocket where the discarded pieces of hardware might land but there’s no reason to panic. The rocket belongs to China, and it is currently hurtling through the atmosphere, circling around the planet about every 90 minutes. Launchers providers usually try to ensure that their discarded rocket bits descend soon after a flight, and the hardware mostly falls into the ocean since there’s a lot of ocean around which would be kinda rare to land on the ground instead of the ocean.

The size of the rocket is nearly 100 feet tall, more than 15 feet across, weighs 23 tons. You shouldn’t be worried because the drop onto a populated area is extremely low. Even without a controlled entry, it is far more likely to smash into the water, where no one would get hurt and hopefully no sea animals would get hurt by it. You’re more likely to get struck by lighting than smashed with a piece of falling space coming from the sky. There is nothing to be worried about from the things that are falling from the sky.
