Sarah is frozen, eyes wide, breathing heavily as though she might faint in that moment. Arlo barks at the safe door which snaps Sarah out of her trance and turns to Arlo shushing him. Arlo stops barking and sits down looking at Sarah, not knowing what to do Sarah slowly walks towards the safe door with little steps waiting to see if it would happen again. Finding it hard catching her breath Sarah knocks on the door again, two knocks vibrating the door to her touch. Not even a second later there’s a knock again. Then a voice comes next,
“Hello?” as the person says muffling through the door.
Sarah in shock she’s hearing somebody in there, she tries to talk but it comes out quiet and squeaky at first. She clears her throat as if she’s about to give a speech but only says one word back “Hello, is someone there?”
“ Yes Yes, hi please help me “ the voice says muffled because of the door.
Sarah frantically looks for a latch or button to open the door but can’t find one.
