Palestinians were forced to leave their homes as Israel military attacks Gaza City. A family of six was killed in the beginning of the attack where Israel bombed and did extreme damage to other neighborhoods. On Thursday, Israel called up 9,000 reservists for a possible ground assault but there was no sign of incursion until dawn on Friday. Tanks were deployed and warplanes carried out an intense barrage. In Gaza the death toll has risen to 122 killed with 900 people wounded and in Israel there are seven people dead. International efforts have risen to try and cease fire.
