California will lift its mask mandate on June 15 which is later than some states to make sure cases don’t go up. The state is still focusing on giving vaccines to communities and everyone who needs one. Pushing more vaccines out will hopefully continue to lower covid infection rates without the masks. People who are fully vaccinated won’t need to wear a mask outdoors but should still wear them inside unless meeting with other vaccinated people according to the CDC. We are getting closer to normal life, but are not quite there yet.
