If I could have any pet in the world I would choose to have a Skinny Pig. Skinny Pig is an almost hairless guinea pig. They usually have hair on their muzzles, feet, and legs but are hairless for the remainder of their bodies.
When I was a young girl, I always said that my favorite animal was a hippopotamus. I liked how these animals were very large mammals that lived in water and were able to eat an entire watermelon with their mouths.
Fast forward to senior year, I was scrolling through TikTok and came across this video on a hairless guinea pig. At first I thought this animal was unusual looking and I did not feel attracted to it for being an adorable pet. Although, the more I replayed that video I realized that the little creature was reminding me of another animal.
A Skinny Pig and hippopotamus look very similar to me and because of this comparison it has made me change my opinion on how much I like Skinny Pigs. I think that a Skinny Pig looks like a hippo because they both have the same type of body and small ears. I now like Skinny Pigs because thinking that they can be a miniature hippo is so cute and they can be a mini pet for anyone to care for.
