Gust of winds have caused the fire near Lake Tahoe to spread substantially towards the south. This fire has now reached 177,260 acres and has demolished over 470 houses. Firefighters on the scene have tried to contain the fire, but only have successfully contained about 14% on Monday morning. Professionals have stated that this fire has been super aggressive, it keeps expanding everyday and so far has no signs of stopping.

Officials are advising everyone to follow the evacuation order and should gather as many important items as possible. Everyone in the area should constantly stay updated on where the fire is located because it is spreading fast and they should be ready to take action if necessary. This has evolved into an extremely dangerous fire and will continue until winds decline.
