Why The School System is Flawed

You have most likely noticed it by now, but the school system is flawed, and unfair, and I’m going to tell you why. Let me start by explaining what exactly is wrong. First of all, the school system has not changed a lot since the industrial revolution. At school, you were rewarded by doing exactly what you were told, which was necessary for working in factories back then. The second problem is that there is no flexibility. In the real world, you usually manage your own time, but in school you are put on a tight schedule where everyone is subject to learning the same things and students are held to the same standards as their peers, even though they’re all very different. Third,  about 98% of what you learn in school is useless and you will never use it in the real world. Also, the way you learn is flawed too, you memorize material just to forget about it later, and you just repeat the process and put continuous stress on your brain for no reason other than memorizing. Even though all of these flaws are apparent, no one does anything about them and that’s because the school system does what its supposed to do, it kills creativity and forces you into thinking the only way to make a living is through a monotonous nine-to-five, if everyone were an entrepreneur, no one would be. And that is why the school system is flawed.
