  • It’s a lovely way of an oatmeal cookie but without raisins. If you don’t like raisins, this is a great way to create a yummy chewy oatmeal cookie.

Ingredients include:

  • 2 cups of Dark Brown Sugar (Packed)
  • 1 cup/ 2 sticks of Salted Butter(Softened)
  • 2 Whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ½ cups of All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt
  • 3 cups of Old Fashioned Oats

Combining Ingredients:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350
  2. Get a large bowl and an electric mixer. In that bowl you will need to beat together the softened butter and the dark brown sugar, until the consistency is fluffy.
  3. In the same bowl you will add the vanilla extract, mix that together. Then add the 2 eggs but one at a time with scraping the bowl in between each one. Put this bowl to the side as you prepare the dry ingredients.
  4. Next you will get a medium size bowl. You will add the all-purpose flour, the salt, and the baking soda. In the bowl mix it with a spoon to make sure the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  5. Then you grab the medium bowl and add it into the large bowl. In 2 to 3 batches in between each batch and mix it with the electric mixer. After that you will then add the oats into the large bowl
  6. Lastly, you will get any size pan with cooking spray on it and measure the cookies with a cookie scoop or a small ice cream scoop. Place on a pan spaced out into the oven.
  7. You want to bake the cookies for 12-13 minutes or until nice and golden brown. If you want your cookies a little more crunchy, leave extra minutes. When done pull them out and let them sit/ cool for a couple minutes.
  8. Then you dig in the yummy chewy cookies!
