I always thought that family was supposed to be a group of people or a person you can go to when things get hard or if you have a problem. I guess I was wrong because so far, for me, family is just a name for a group of people who are there to yell at you, tell you you’re not enough and you’re not worthy of life. That’s one of the main reasons why I think it’s important for me at school to put on a fake smile and a fake personality and be happy all the time and show my friends that I care about them because you never know what someone is going through and it may be hard for them to express their feelings.
