Southern California is experiencing massive waves of dead fish and birds on their beaches. This is due to the recent 3,000 barrels of oil spilled according to CNN. The fish and birds have been washing up on Huntington Beach where approximately 200,000 people live. As of this point the leak is still going on and they are still trying to investigate what just happened, and trying to repair it so this doesn’t keep happening to the oceans. The oil kills animals in the water, decreasing the amount of fish people can catch during the day and it also hurts the environment.
