On September 5, 2021, my family and I decided to bring home a puppy. A beautiful French Bulldog who we named Nova. I was thrilled, to say the least, we had always wanted a dog for as long as I could remember. The first day we brought her home was by far the best, but by nightfall, it was an entirely different story. I woke up several times throughout the night to comfort her when she would cry. By morning I was exhausted, but I knew that sleepless nights were just a small price to pay for the memories we’d make in the future.
Today Nova is 2 months old. She’s happy and healthy. Time has gone by so quickly and she isn’t so little anymore. Her favorite thing to do is cause trouble, which she’s very good at. The rug has been one of Novas’ many victims lately. Every morning I find myself looking forward to her patiently waiting to greet us with stinky morning kisses. Nova is one of the best things that has happened to me and I cannot wait to create special moments with her.
