Beauty according to society
I stare at myself in the mirror
I cry
I don’t like what I see
I change
I cry
I don’t like who I’ve become
Society has set beauty standards that are unrealistic. Little girls grow up with the idea that beauty is defined by their physical appearance. We’re told how to act. We’re told how to dress. At that point, the damage has already been done. Enough is enough.
