Tonight (Friday, November 5th), it’s all going down. El Diamante High School’s first playoff football game against Central Valley Christian is taking place tonight at CVC High School. Both high schools have been putting in their absolute best efforts in practice and at games. Currently, CVC has 6 wins and 4 losses along with a 60% win rate. They are also 2-2 in their league. El Diamante currently has 3 wins and 6 losses, leaving them a 33% win rate. El Diamante is 1-3 in their league. Although the odds point towards a CVC victory, don’t underestimate El Diamante’s outstanding offensive strategies. El Diamante has some amazing wide receivers and running backs. If El Diamante can shut down CVC’s offense at the same time as putting points on the board for their side, a Miner Nation victory can be a relevant possibility. The game tonight starts at 7:00 PM.
