A physical therapist is a person who is helping an individual to improve their injury or illness. Some of the things they take care of their patients with are rehabilitation, like treatment for their patients with chronic conditions. Their job is to diagnose their patients of movement, go over their patient’s history about the injuries or illnesses they had before. Creating a plan for their patients like their goals with recording the patient’s progress of how they are improving. Their patients can be of any age with any problem with movement or function. Techniques the physical therapist uses on their patient are massaging, stretching, and exercising small movements. The physical therapist’s work schedule is mostly full-time, they sometimes offer part-time, which are normal business hours, but they also may have to work on weekends or late evenings. It depends on how much paperwork there is at the end to go over all their patients. The requirements to become a physical therapist is having a Doctor of physical therapy degree, with being licensed with the Commission on Accreditation In Physical Therapy Education. The programs require a bachelor’s degree in fitness, healthcare, or something that is similar to that. Physical therapists have a variety of other certifications and licenses but this is the main one. The annual wage for a job such as a physical therapist is $91,010, depending on what facilities you work in. Such as residential or hospitals or offices and services, they range from a couple of thousand dollars. A physical therapist is a great job for people who are social and can communicate well, people who are interested in the body and muscles/bones, this job is for you. So become a physical therapist, you won’t regret it!
