According to the World Economic Forum, every minute a truckload of plastic is dumped into the ocean. Many know just how damaging single-use plastics are to the environment, such as plastic bags. Multiple governments have now stepped up after finally realizing just how damaging those plastics are and have either fully or partially banned single-use plastics and tried to promote sustainable alternatives.
