The news of the Michigan school shooting was absolutely devastating. For as long as I remember, we have always done active shooter drills at school. We’ve always tried our best to be prepared if tragedy strikes at our school. I remember towards the beginning of the year when there was a possible shooting threat here, at EDHS. Thankfully, the police deemed the threat not credible. It was terrifying to think that a school shooting could actually happen here in Visalia. I wish we did not live in a world where school shootings were not that much of a surprise anymore.
