unconscious thought- getting lost in meditation

Every night I lay in my bed with my eyes closed and take deep breaths till my mind becomes blank. I feel the physical world around me go quiet and I can hear the thoughts in my head as clear as day. My body alters itself and I become fully aware of every emotion going through my mind and body. I can feel all the tension in each of my nerves.  It’s my state of mind and I’m the only one in it. It’s bliss. It’s peaceful and quiet.

 I use this time to sort through my thoughts, figure out what is truly important to me and what is just weighing me down. You must always look at the positives and the negatives. This will A, give you more enlightenment on a decision that needs to be made. Or B, more questions will pop into your head. This is because you need to know at least a base of what you want from the commitment and follow it through. If you really listen to yourself, your personal morals will not change because it is what you believe in.  The unconscious state of mind never fails. It helps you see beyond the physical.
