  1. It is perfectly fine to want quiet time and space.
  2. It is okay to have boundaries.
  3. If you have an issue with someone else, do not wait a long time to confront them.
  4. People will make fun of your goals and plans for the future.
  5. Your friends will get boyfriends (or girlfriends) and spend lots of time with them.
  6. It can be hard to ignore hurtful words from others.
  7. Friendships change.
  8. Second chances are not necessarily a bad thing.
  9. Do not spend your time overthinking everything.
  10. One bad grade will not ruin you.
  11. People will laugh at you for being committed to your education.
  12. Sometimes people do not always turn out to be the person you thought they were.
  13. Friends can drift apart and that is okay.
  14. Boys are not always “less drama” than girls, contradictory to what people say.
  15. Be careful who you open up to.
  16. Do not let one person’s treatment towards you determine your mood for the whole day.
  17. You do not have to be friends with everyone.
  18. It is okay to not spill all your feelings to everyone.
  19. People will find out what you say about them behind their backs.
  20. That person’s view of you is not necessarily true and accurate.
  21. Be careful who you trust.
