A Tulare woman is found dead, now the police have to figure out what happened to her. A Tulare police officer was driving around at 6:20 am. He noticed a vehicle had its door and trunk open. The vehicle was parked under the carport of the mobile home.

Sgt. Eddie Hinojosa said, “The Officer stopped to investigate and noted that it had appeared to have been rummaged through, while checking the vehicle, he observed the smoke coming from within the same mobile home and shortly after heard someone screaming inside”.

The officer forced his way into the mobile home and found it engulfed with flames. Once the fire department put out the fire, they found a 74-year-old woman in the mobile home. The police haven’t released her name because they want to notify her family first. Her exact cause of death will be notified through an autopsy.

Hinojosa said, “The Tulare Fire Department is working with the Tulare Police Department to determine the origin of the fire and whether or not it was an accidental or criminal act. More information will be provided as the case develops.
