In honor of President’s Day, there are some exciting crafts to celebrate American history as well as being able to have some fun. In order to make these George Washington and Abraham Lincoln paper plate crafts all you need to do is gather these very four simple supplies:
- Paper plates
- Cotton balls
- Construction paper
- Glue/ Adhesive
- Jumbo craft sticks
- Get a plate and cut a large hole in the center that your face would fit through
- For Abraham Lincon cut out his hat from black construction paper and little pieces of brown construction paper to help create his beard
- For George Washington cut out blue construction paper for his hat
- Glue your corresponding construction paper for the mask of the person you are creating
- As an added piece add cotton balls under George Washington’s hat to create his hair
- Finally, glue the popsicle to the back of the plates and your mask is complete
