The Last Gold is a documentary that I recommend watching. It’s about a women’s relay swim team. East Germany was upset in the final race in the Olympics. It talks about the swimmers and the paths they take during the Olympics. It also talks about how they hate the Germans, they would get called “Spoiled and Huge”. The Germans were really huge compared to the Americans. I love how this documentary really talks about the swimmer’s feelings and it shows clips of the last Olympic swim meet. I thought it was really interesting watching two swimmers almost placing first. If you love athletic documentaries then this is a good one I recommend to watch.
