On February 23, 2021, South Korean artist “Parannoul” released his second studio album titled “To see the next part of the dream”. This album is very beautiful and has strong beats and strong lyricism even though I can’t understand what he is saying since the album is in Korean. This album is very powerful when it comes to its beats, this album’s genre is under “Korean Shoegaze” which is a subgenre of indie and alternative rock. This genre consists of distorted effects, a mixture of weird but cool vocals, and also very loud volume.

This album is personally in my top 10 albums of all time. It is very beautiful when it comes to the variation of sound effects and vocals. The drums on this album are also very fantastic, very raw, and fit very well with the guitar and other sounds on the album.

Some standout tracks from this album are “Beautiful World (a personal favorite), White Ceiling, To See The Next part of the dream, I can feel my heart touching you.”

This has got to be my favorite album that isn’t in English, the powerful vocals and sounds on this album are very impactful and very, very shoegaze which I love. I would give this album a 9/10 and I recommend it to anybody that is into Alternative Rock or just shoegaze in general.
