Diana was born on July 1st, 1961 near Sandringham, England. Throughout her years in school, she was known for being extremely shy and distant towards other students. Soon after, she began to open up about her interest in music and dancing. She became Lady Diana Spencer after her father inherited the title of Earl Spencer in 1975. Lady Diana had a fondness for children, and eventually became an assistant at Young England Kindergarten.
Lady Diana started dating Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne, who was 13 years older than her, in 1977. They first met when Diana was a child and was reported playing with his younger siblings. She didn’t like being with Prince Charles, as she was constantly on camera and was forced to present herself in a “ladylike” manner. The couple grew distant from each other after they were married, as captured on social media. When they were married, Lady Diana took the name, Princess Diana. It is said that the prince has made comments on Diana’s body and appearance, which only furthered her disliking towards him.
It was revealed that Prince Charles had another woman on the side, Camilla Parker Bowles. Princess Diana went to confront Camilla about this situation, claiming that she wanted her husband back. That, however, did not stop Prince Charles and Camilla from getting together. Ultimately, Princess Diana and Prince Charles divorced.
A year after the divorce, Diana fell in love with a man named Dodi Fayed and wanted to run away with him. One day, Dodi and Diana were seen with a chauffeur, driving very quickly, as they were being chased by the paparazzi. The car crashed, and all three passengers were killed. Diana was only 36.
When Princess Diana’s death was publicized, the world felt sorrowful. Millions of people gathered around in London to create a memorial for her, as she was very inspirational among women.
Mourners and theorists came up with conspiracies on her death. Some people say Prince Charles ordered the chauffeur to crash the car, and others think the whole royal family had something to do with her death. Nobody knows for sure what happened between Diana and the royal family, but one thing’s for certain; Diana was truly loved and adored by the public, and her death was a real eye-opener about the dark history of the royal family.
