Is Rock Climbing Safe?

Rock Climbing is a sport where people climb up and down a natural rock or a fake rock wall. The goal of rock climbing is to reach the top of that rock or mountain known as the endpoint without falling. Some factors that help strengthen your body are the biceps, shoulders, upper back, abs, glutes, calves, etc because the person’s entire body is involved in endurance and cardiovascular systems that require all the muscles to help rock climb. However, it’s very dangerous and needs some equipment such as: wearing restrictive clothing and rock climbing shoes that’ll protect your feet from friction and a harness, rope, helmet, etc. There is a lot of equipment to try and feel halfway safe. Since when someone is climbing you can see the mountain from under as someone is climbing up. It’s very time-consuming and may take a couple of hours. Ranging from 5-to 7 hours until you reach the top for the first time of rock climbing. If they have done it a couple of times it doesn’t take as long as the first time. Nonetheless, a situation happened at Joshua National Park last weekend. That someone has appeared to be dead from rock climbing. Which surprisingly is the second death appearing at the desert park in the same year. The climber was very experienced and had been doing rock climbing for years. Her name was Tina Fiori, around 50 years old by fellow climber Matt Himmelestein on Monday. Sadly, the climber fell at 80 feet on Saturday near Sheep Pass Campground. The fellow Mr. Himmelstein said Fiori got to the top and was very safe and secured until she tried to loop her rope through the webbing nylon. From the permanent anchor that was attached to the rope had been already used earlier, as she webbed she automatically fell. So from this experience, if someone is going to try rock climbing, make sure to be very careful. Review over the rock someone wants to climb to see if it’s old.
