BLADEE ARTIST REVIEW

Since I have no more albums to review I am going to review separate artists. Bladee is a Swedish rapper that is more in the subgenre called “cloud rap” and has collaborated with many artists like Yung lean, ecco2k, Charli XCX, and others. Blade is not too popular but is also pretty well known for his many identifiable albums like Icedancer, The Fool, Eversince, Gluee, etc. Bladee started music in 2012 but did not release his debut mixtape until 2014 which was his most famous album Gluee. Bladee and his rap group drain gang have made many projects which my personal favorite is E by Ecco2k, but Bladee does have many good albums as he is the most popular out of the group. Bladee is more hated because of the subgenre of music he does which like said is cloud rap which is like dreamlike and hazy music with relaxed vocals. In all honestly Bladee is a very good artist and I think Bladee Is a 9/10 artist but the only problem with Bladee and this goes for other cloud rap artists as well is that some of their songs can be very repetitive and it makes it sound like previous songs they have made because of cloud rap and the way it works. Bladee still has a phenomenal discography but there are still flaws keeping him from being truly the perfect rapper and I am excited to see what Blade has planned for the future of his career after his most recent album release being Crest. Bladee is a very good artist and I recommend him to anyone who likes more dreamlike, hazy, and relaxed music but also with what rap has to bring as well.
