Today I got the opportunity to interview Mrs. Avoy, the new drama teacher at El Diamante High School. She went to Tulare Western and has been teaching for two years now. Before teaching at El D High School, she taught at La Joya Middle School and Valley Oaks. She always wanted to be a teacher, she was very interested in theater but wasn’t expected to be a drama teacher. During her free time, she likes to read and play video games; she is into a lot of role-playing games and currently playing Elden Ring.
She is married and has a family with four kids. The thing that she likes best, so far, at El Diamante is all her students have been great. Lastly, one thing she would like all students and staff at El Diamante to know is that she loves all the support she has gotten from staff; it brought her a lot of encouragement.
