Friday, September 2nd was El Diamante’s first spirit rally of the year which all the classes attended. It was about 45 minutes and it was to get the school to have as much spirit as they can for the upcoming football game. The football players came out and played a mini-game against the teachers to get everyone excited for the game and for sports. Both the cheer and dance teams taught the students a cheer called “The Miner spell out cheer” to do at the game. The rally ended with everyone participating in singing the Alma Mater to start a tradition. We encourage as many people to go out and support the Varsity boys as they take on Clovis North in an intense game!
