How to make a Chocolate Milkshake:
- Combine ice cream, milk, and chocolate sauce in a blender.
- Blend until combined, add more milk if needed. For a thicker shake, add more ice cream. For a thinner shake, add more milk.
- Serve topped with whipped cream, if desired.
Recipe Variations:
- Chocolate Milkshake without Ice Cream: Instead of ice cream, add a couple frozen bananas and plenty of ice.
- Chocolate Milkshake with Cocoa Powder: Add ¼ cup of warm water, 6 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and 3 tablespoons of sugar to a blender and blend on low. Add ice cream and a splash of milk if needed, and blend to combine.
- Chocolate Banana Milkshake: Add frozen banana and blend with other ingredients.
- Vegan Chocolate Milkshake: Substitute almond milk and vegan vanilla ice cream. Omit whipping cream.
