The first thing that you may be thinking is what is a B.I.T? Well a B.I.T is a staff member that helps to identify and respond to distressed students and provide support to those students. They make data-driven, intensive, and strategic support plans for distressed students.
Now let’s learn more about the new B.I.T member, Mrs.Jackson. Mrs.Jackson is married with three kids, all boys. Some of Mrs. Jackson’s past times are being with her family and drinking Starbucks.
She graduated from Mt. Whitney and then got her bachelor’s degree at Fresno State. She always knew she wanted to be a support person for students. She started her career in VUSD in Green Acres Middle School in 2016. 2 years later she went to Veva Blunt for 4.5 years and now she is here, at El Diamante.
Mrs. Jackson’s favorite part about El D has been getting to know students and staff. Something she would like to say is that teamwork makes the dream work, Keep up all the good work, and go, Miners! We are glad to have Mrs.Jackson here as a great addition to the El D family and we hope she has the best time at El D, Go Miners!
