The College of the Sequoias campus in Visalia has always been a place in its local community for growth and opportunity. Within the world of college academics, collegiate athletics have proven to be large points of interest. It’s been in the works for many years that a stadium for the Visalia COS campus would prove to excite and promote the Giant Athletics Program greatly. Many collegiate athletic enthusiasts around Tulare County have finally gotten their wish. It was publicly announced in March, that COS was to build “Sequoias Stadium” which will be finished by the Fall of 2023. The stadium will seat 3,500 people and be equipped with a video scoreboard, concessions facility, restroom facility, a state-of-the-art entry plaza, a permanent sound system, and related site improvements. This stadium will be available to COS Football, Soccer, and Track & Field. COS has already integrated its full-themed turf field and plans to officially break ground in November of this year.
