A New Day Will Dawn

Through the days I can’t sleep,

A new day will dawn,

As the sun rises,

I stay the same,

But the clock won’t stop,

I drift and drift,

As the seasons change, I remember you,

Yet I want to drift

Even if I can’t sleep,

A new day will dawn,

All I can do is reminisce,

Things are changing,

Things are ending,

Things are about to begin,

Even if you’re gone,

I will continue to drift,

See?

Soon enough,

A new day will dawn,

A new day will dawn

It’ll bloom in the springs and wither in the fall,

But still, it sprouts over and over again,

It doesn’t matter what has passed,

but what will happen,

Even if I can’t sleep,

A new day will dawn,

I’ll just have to let you go,

Even if I cry,

I’ll eventually stop,

Even if you’re gone,

I’ll continue to drift,

Your love will be missed,

I’ll still want to see you,

But See?

Soon enough,

A new day will dawn

The wish that we don’t know will ever come true,

Its name is hope,

Even if you’re gone,

A new day will dawn,

I want this pain to end,

Even if I’m hollow,

I’ll find a way to feel this void,

After a long night,

I’ll find a light,

No matter what,

I will live on,

So long as the sun rises,

See?

Soon enough,

A new day will dawn
