DOCTOR STRANGE AND THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS REVIEW *SPOILER WARNING*

Doctor Strange 2 in my opinion, wasn’t great, nor did it live up to my expectations. As a movie that dealt with the literal multiverse, they(Marvel) didn’t really do a lot with the concept. Fans had correctly guessed that the Marvel version of the Illuminati would show up in the movie, and they did, before dying about three minutes after their reveal. Which was one of the more disappointing parts of the movie, seeing as every member was a fan-favorite character, Peggy Carter, Charles Xavier, Captain Marvel, Black Bolt, and Reed Richards. That wasn’t the end of disappointing and needless kill-offs. At the very end of the movie, Wanda Maximov (The Scarlet Witch) kills herself by having a temple collapse in on itself, which gives her immense power shown throughout the movie, she could have easily done so from the outside and lived. Though there were decent parts of the movie, it confirmed that the x-men and dead-pool exist in the marvel universe and there is now more room for crossovers, they also introduced a classic character “Miss America” who is part of the main problem for Doctor strange. Overall, I rate the movie 6.5/10.
