There has been a series of murders going on for the past 18 months in Northern California and a suspect has finally been caught and put into custody on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Stockton Police Department arrested 43-year-old Wesley Brownlee on suspicion of homicide. He is being charged with the murders of Jonathan Rodriguez Hernandez, Juan Cruz, and Lawrence Lopez, previously identified as Lorenzo Lopez. Stockton police previously said they believed two other murders of Paul Alexander Yaw and Salvador William Debudey are connected to the serial killings, but Brownlee currently is not charged with their deaths. Brownlee is being held on no bail, with his next arraignment set for Nov. 14.
