La La Land was released in 2016 and was very popular; it won 6 Oscars for the movie. I was able to view and create my own opinions on the film in my Film Studies class. This movie represents Hollywood and its Golden Age by using bright colors and it demonstrates the struggles of wanting to make it big in the entertainment industry. It is a cute romantic movie and I recommend it to anyone who has not seen it yet and likes this genre.
