Yesterday we welcomed another furry friend to our family. His name is Milo, and he is a Maltipoo, a mix of a Maltese terrier and a Poodle. He is two months old and a great companion to have. On the night of his arrival, we drove to Lindsey to pick him up. The first time I saw him, I knew he would be a great addition to the family. He was calm the entire ride home, snuggling in my lap and burying his head under my arms. When we arrived at my grandma’s house, he was asleep. A small soft cuddly ball with a beautiful golden brown fur coat lay on my lap. Inside the house, we allowed him to explore on his own so that he would gradually get used to the environment. His little tail was wagging the entire time. While he settled in, we started setting up his cage and basket of necessities in the room. The atmosphere was abundant with happiness. After a few moments, I realized how late it was, so I had to go home. It was bittersweet to be able to welcome him to his forever home. He is my aunt’s dog, but I already adore him as my own, and I can’t wait for the memories we’ll all make together.
