When my mom was letting a friend stay with us he found a stray dog and brought it home to us not knowing what to do. We were originally going to find her a home or give her to a shelter, but after failing to find a home for a week we fell in love and decided to keep her. We gave her a nickname while we had her for that week, which was Pumpkin. The name stuck and now she’s with us in her forever home.
She is very kind and unique. She loves getting attention from people and would never hurt a fly. She’s gained a habit of standing up on her hind legs when we’re eating to try and get food, and it’s absolutely adorable. I’ve never had a dog like Pumpkin, and I’m glad it worked out this way to where we could keep her.
