Now that October has flown by (sadly), November is now here! Also now that November is here that means Thanksgiving break is coming up pretty soon as well as winter break. Yay for students! Before you get too busy as the holidays arrive, below is a list of some things you can do in November with family and friends.
- Run in a Thanksgiving race
A way to keep in shape while still enjoying the Thanksgiving spirit.
- Volunteer
You could volunteer at a homeless shelter to serve Thanksgiving dinners to the less fortunate members of your community. A great way to exemplify the “Thanksgiving spirit.”
- Get a head start on your Christmas shopping
Even though it is a little early, you should take advantage of those Black Friday deals!
- Go hiking
Enjoy the outdoors comfortably one last time before it gets too cold.
- Go on a bike ride
If you’re not so much into hiking, you could also go on a bike ride—or even a simple walk—around your town or neighborhood.
- Play a game of touch football
Gather up some of your friends and family and play a friendly game of touch football. Why not let your inner kid out for the holidays?
Also, don’t forget to change your clocks on November 6 at 2:00 a.m!
