How To Train in the Offseason Effectively

As my football season ended just a couple weeks ago, I am ready to describe what I wish I should have done differently during the offseason for my junior year. Something that I should have done differently was going to more camps because you get really good exposure by playing and participating in them. Another thing I should have done was stretch more often. I recently learned that if you stretch at least twice a day, it loosens up your muscles in order to make you faster. I stretched about once a week, but I should have been on that. One last thing that I encourage players to do is train like an athlete and not like a bodybuilder. Although the workouts are more intense, you will be benefiting more because the workouts will correlate directly with movements that you perform while playing the game.
