Recipe: Matcha Brownies

To all my matcha lovers, this one’s for you.

Ingredients : 

  • All-purpose flour
  • Matcha Powder
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Large eggs
  • Granulated sugar
  • Brown sugar
  • Vanilla extract

Instructions : 

  1. Prepare the oven and the pan. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Melt the butter and white chocolate. 
  3. Combine egg, sugar, and vanilla. In a separate bowl use a hand mixer or whisk to beat all of them until thick and pale.
  4. Combine wet ingredients while mixing on low, slowly pour in the cool melted white chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and whisk until well combined.
  5. Combine dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl whisk flour, matcha powder, and salt until combined.
  6. Sift the dry into the wet ingredients then fold with a rubber spatula until well combined.
  7. Pour the batter into a prepared pan and smooth it out with a spatula. 
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool on the counter for at least 15 minutes before removing them from the pan onto a wire rack to cool completely then, slice when cooled.
  10. Enjoy!
