Justice for Josh: Student Death on Campus With No Help From Staff Members

On November 3rd of 2022, a student at Chandler High School in Arizona named Joshua Cluff passed away due to choking on his breakfast at school. Shortly after, he began to have a seizure. Within minutes, the student lost conscience and started foaming at the mouth until he passed away on campus. Little has been shared from the staff of Chandler High School, but many students have begun to speak out against the faculty for their supposed negligence on the matter.

The hashtag “Justice for Josh” had begun spreading around on social media platforms, most notably on TikTok. Most photos/videos include images of Cluff with captions commenting on how the school refused to help him during his health crisis. Some even claim that faculty threatened students who tried contacting health professionals on the school’s behalf. Whether or not staff members were actually threatening their students, the general consensus says that the workers at Chandler High School thought little of the instance and didn’t help because they believed Cluff would have been fine.

There is still so much information that has yet to be shared with the public on this instance, and we await patiently and with sympathy in our hearts for all those mourning over Joshua Cluff’s passing.
